You're absolutely right, Kaistine. It just got frustrating. I do enjoy the races though. Those are generally a pretty fun substitute for hardcore. If I die there to desync it's not quite so bad because the investment is minimal at that point.

lightning arrow, i have literally no gear. goldrim and wurms molt uniques, a bow with only lightning damage, gloves with no damage, rings with no health. i think im fucked if i leave sarns

Well I died to Dominus my first time through, didn't know what he did and the blood rain got me. Kinda wanted to be playing on nemesis anyway instead of hardcore, so now I can do that.
