Your inexperience with women is showing. I went through a relationship with one chick who seemed perfectly normal and awesome for like a solid year. And then a year and a half in I suddenly realized she had made a slow transition into bat shit crazy. That shit can sneak up on you.

Hell, it's not even just women. People change, dude. Humans as a whole are terrible at this. If something changes slow enough, we just accept it. Even if the thing changes into something we never would have accepted at the outset.
