The only movies I keep on my computer are ones I’ve torrented but not yet watched. That’s like a whole 3-4 movies and maybe a season or two of whatever TV show I’m catching up on. I stream the vast majority of my media and if I have to download it, I delete it as soon as I’ve watched it. I got the 1 TB HDD I have now about 5 years ago and I’ve never done any serious cleaning of it and (iirc – at work) I’m only using about 700 GB. I might just get a TB on the HDD since storage is so cheap, but I really can’t see myself using more than that. If I ever do though, I can add storage pretty easy.
